Transitions 9 week 1 26th-30th JANUARY 2010
THE EXCHANGE Princes Street, Penzance, Cornwall. UK.
Timothy Crowley and Dominick Allen
Collaborative Installation
Dominick Allen uses salvaged consumer electronics and handmade sound synthesizers
to explore chaos maths and the corruption of information.
Timothy Crowley utilises multiple computers
running generative real time sound processing software to create audio installations that respond
to and reinterpret their surroundings.
In Transition 9 the artists collaborated on conducting public experiments, in which a series of aging
computers communicated with a collection of modified and hand built devices to produce new hyper-chaotic
and psuedo-intelligent sound environments.
